How the clue works
in agreement is what we're defining here. A nickel is an example ('say') of a COIN, and a cent is 20% of a nickel, giving us CENT — then 'where I had invested' tells us to stick ID (short for 'I had') inside CENT, making CIDENT, and you just slot the whole lot together.
